I will be exhibiting four pictures in a local community gallery’s fundraising sale. The organiser has confirmed acceptance of my work, and the prints are ready. Anyone who may be in the area in early December is welcome to attend the event.

Saturday, but my work may have been sold by then (here’s hoping!). Of course you may want an excuse to flee the work do before you do something career-threatening like pour red wine over your boss’s head.

Good grief!

You don’t think I have any intention of being anywhere near him at the Christmas party do you???

Funnily enough, being an over-sharer without boundaries, he told me that he’s quite keen to work on a project associated with another team. I told him how interesting and challenging that work would be. I wasn’t lying so I’m sure I said it convincingly but I just hope I managed to say it without being overly enthusiastic and excited.

Well no

but he may feel the need to share a little Christmas bonhomie with his staff. At that point, you can say “Sorry, I really must go” and exit fast. When i read what this guy says when sober, I hate to think what a few Christmas drinks might do :)

This evening after work I dropped the prints off at the gallery, and I saw some of the other stuff that will be in the exhibition. It looks as though it’s going to be a really good exhibition.
