I lost my brother to cancer a year ago. I want to help his kids with money, homework and everything else they would have required of their father had he been alive.
I want to buy saving bonds for each of them.

I have an impression that you would have done the same had you found yourself ( touch wood) in the same situation. I am not sure who said it or where it was said but—“He who has children will never die”. My brother still exist through his kids you see. And by helping them, I am also helping him.
