There is a woman in our town that has the same name as my mother. People have been confusing them (on paper) for over a decade. They finally crossed paths a couple of years ago. It was exciting for them both.
It turned out they had the same orthropedic doctor and my mother accidently picked up one of her medicines from the pharmacy. Being a nurse my mother knew it was the wrong medication.

For some reason, just having the same name makes you more seriously consider paths you never took. Could I have been in the NFL if I’d just took my Family Fitness Center membership a little more seriously? I found so many Andy Roberts’s, including several who are moderately famous, that It became a nuisance having to explain to people on the net that I’m not the one they were thinking of. So I ended up having a FAQ page to refer them to.
Amongst other things, we have a type of rock named after us. I know how to pronounce it now and what it looks like, but I’ve not seen a real piece of ‘Calcio-andyroberts-ite’ yet. perhaps I’ll add it as a goal.
