A night came when I decided I did not want to go to bed. So I didn’t. Instead, I fell asleep the following day in the early evening and woke up late at night. Then slept a few more hours after that. A bit confusing to explain, yeah.
Well since that happened I have been going to bed earlier. Some nights around 3am, some nights at 10pm. Some days I wake up at 1pm, others at 7am. But I’ve found that I don’t get well rested sleep. I fall asleep anywhere, most likely not in my bed. Sometimes on the couch, sometimes even on the floor in front of the heater.
I want to get into the pattern of sleeping a decent amount of hours at night and going to bed/waking up around the same time every day. It’s much nicer when I’m up during the day, much more productive. I just have to get into the habit of doing this all the time so it’s something that comes easy for me to do.
