I’m going to break this one off tomorrow. I have to take a desert to work for a Christmas lunch on Tuesday and I’d like to give some loaves to a couple of friends/neighbors.

One of the few recipes I have ever attempted. I have actually done it two or three times before but it’s been a couple of years. I like to put chocolate chips in them, an addendum which my grandma, were she here, would probably view as a sacrilege.
