I'm going to try this again as a new years resolution. 12 months ago

I did make some progress over the last year. I haven’t had fish since November 2006 and no egg dishes (omelets, quiches, etc) since last December nor have I drank any milk. What’s holding me back? [singing] CHEESE GLORIOUS CHEESE! SO TASTY AND SCRUMPTOUS!

Yea, I love mac and cheese. That and pastries (usually baked with eggsand milk products) are my comfort foods. Oh! and let’s not forget about spinach lasagna. My favorite food on the planet. What can I do? I need comforting and tasty substitutes or I’ll just end up rewriting a similar entry this time next year.

I hear you!

I think the eggs and cheese can be some of the most difficult things to let go of.

In fact, one day I do plan to have my own chickens, so I can at least have eggs again.

I very rarely will have mac and cheese (maybe once a year), because, like you, I LOVE it.

But I’ve found a lot of other alternatives.. some cheeze recipes and stuff that make it easier to eat stuff with out it.

My opinion on this is, you just do it in steps and if you can make it for a month without eating dairy or eggs, that’s a lot of dairy and eggs not being consumed.. you know?

Hmm.. My skin isn’t as perfect as it seems.. There’s nothing like being able to pick your favorite photos. lol... but as far as skin goes, good stuff to consume would be Hemp Seed Oil or Flax Seed Oil.. Lots of water.. fruits and veggies.. VITAMINS!.. that’s why I’m trying to take them everyday..

And a unassuming fabulous face washing soap is the humble little Sappo Hill soap.. the Oatmeal soap. The darker one. It really leaves my face radiant and well balanced.
