I once met a person working at a bookstore who had read a ridiculous amount of the books the store carried. They always had a new suggestion on a new book they had read and loved. It was incredible.

I decided I would love to own a great little independent book and music store and carry only albums and books I have listened to/read and liked. It will carry the craziest range of merchandise-Shakespeare to Donald Miller to Ted Dekker; the Beatles to Regina Spektor to Caillou-but I will be able to tell people exactly what I love about every single item. People will come in looking for something new and walk out with something I’m confident they’ll enjoy.

This means I really have a lot of listening and reading to do, doesn’t it? Ha.

I’d also love to cover the walls with art by people I know and sell a really good cup of chai. Slightly influenced by Indica? Yes.
