I actually got happy (a LOT happier) by stopping taking a contraceptive needle called “depo provera”. My advice is don’t ever mess with your hormones – stick to the hormone-free options!!! Even coming away from the pill has made a massive change in my attitude to life and “the small” things that should go over our heads.
Good for you making that decision! I noticed a huge change myself. Life feels good again. :)
