I lived in Fort Greene for a year, but it seemed longer. Brooklyn is so much better than Manhattan! Manhattan is for people who want doorman apartments, convenience, and a smaller sense of adventure. Me, I wanted a neighborhood, blocks that you can wander on in a nonlinear fashion, many tongues and cultures, and a real park that isn’t Central Park. I love Brooklyn and miss it.
