Call Simon (read all 2 entries…)
Talk about a complicated way of doing things. 12 months ago

I used one of my cell phones to call my Skype number, the (503) 928 7698 number you see by my username. When I ignored myself on Skype, the call was forwarded to another of my cell phones, where I rejected it, thus sending it to voice mail.

I left a message for myself.

I like it!!

Thanks.

The next step is to figure out if I can listen to the voice mail online, to further convolute its route.

My home phone

is via cable so I can listen to voicemail online. What’s next after that?

I reckon the next step would be to…

…listen to them online, while wirelessly surfing the web in the middle of a field.

Can you take this any further?

Did it go something like this?

Simon! I know you’re there, why aren’t you returning my calls?! I bet you’re with that slut Lisa from accounting.

LOL!

Nope, not exactly. When I started speaking, I was concious that I was talking to myself, but after a few seconds I lapsed into “rambling, chatty, forget you’re being recorded” mode, and I was waffling about all kinds of nonsense.

In my younger days, I avoided voicemail like the plague. These days, I don’t know when to stop.

btw, thanks for the tip about Lisa. ;)

good work

i feel you can mark this goal off as done. :)

I think you're right.

Plus, I need room for another goal.

Done!

Pssstt....

Simon, you’d have plenty of room for another goal if you’d complete some of your birthday goals. ;-D
