two days ago i made the 40 minute drive to visit my 93 year old aunt and it was soooo rewarding. i took her roses and her favorite fruit. we talked, looked at pictures, and laughed while reminising about the old times. it felt great bonding with her while i held her frail hands and told her how much i loved her. i plan to return again in february. i dont want to let a whole year go by again, without seeing her. she means a lot to me and i want to be there for her while there’s still time, before she passes away. i know i can do this.
