Our most likely prospects for getting us the G5 as a wedding present opted for other gifts. Now we’ll have to buy it ourselves so it’ll have to wait. Other expenses involving getting the apartment in order are more important.

Actually, I'm a little jealous

I work on a G4 with 2 gigs of memory. It zips along just fine most of the time. But sometimes when I’m doing a big-ass render or something fancy like that: molasses going up hill in the winter time. Hard to know though, how long will it be before the whole line is on intel. I’d had to be stuck with a static version of the OS.
