I’ve had this goal for a long time and have made little, if any, progress, so here is what I am doing in 2009 to reach this goal: I aim to finish scanning 600 photos, some of which will be integral to this project. I aim to organize all the family mementos by family member and get acid-free boxes for each person’s items. Doing that will help me to find items I want to use in the scrapbooks. And finally, I aim to do 4 scrapbook pages (one for each of the 4 books I am working on) per month from May through December. If I stick to this plan, I will have 8 pages done for each book by 2010, and that momentum should allow me to actually finish the books in time to give them for Christmas 2010.
