The problem is, especially since I’ve moved, I don’t know what to talk about. Everyone here seems really intimidating and shallow. And that’s fine. I have no problem with superficiality. I’m just not sure what to talk about. These people seem obsessed with celebrity, gossip, and tearing other people down. That’s not my style. Can’t I just find people who are thoughtful, funny, and interesting and not catty and two-faced?
