So I am taking an English class at my local Community College to help me out with this goal. Even though I have a Master’s degree I want to relearn the basics to strengthen my skills.

Good for you! I have found a couple of great tips here at 43 Things. My current challenge by a published author and instructor was to write 500 words a day, every day, for 90 days. It’s been an awesome self-education.
