Some of my friendships have ended on unpleasant terms. I’ve really had to put myself out there to do this. A good chunk of the encounters with friends I’ve had so far have left me with this disgusting mixture of sadness, nausea, nostalgia and defeat.

It’s been heartbreaking and I don’t know if I should continue on with this goal.
