achieve and maintain a healthy weight (read all 10 entries…)
I'm going to call it a 'win' and move on... 11 months ago

Just checked for the first time in a month… I’ve lost ground since then, but still doing better than I was before Thanksgiving, so I made progress on this over the holidays! That’s not just a ‘two steps forward one step back’ kind of thing, I think it’s something to be proud of. :)

EDIT: After going over the spreadsheet again, I also see that I transitioned from ‘apple shaped’ to ‘pear shaped’. By that measure, I’m in slightly better shape now than I was during my smallest size over that duration. Double yay!

The change in shape is a great sign!

BIG health impact there, as I’m sure you know… Plus, it’s really powerful reinforcement that you’re on the right track!

I’m a pear, although I do have a small jelly roll right in the middle of my tummy that won’t go away, now that I’m in my 40’s…

My progress shows in my arms before anywhere else… Fate is cruel, giving me fat arms in a hot, humid climate… but I WILL have buff arms someday… Mark my words!

Congratulations on your win!

scooterbird may have gotten the job after all

It actually says that on the spreadsheet?

What is the diff, btw?

this question...

was answered offline, but if anyone else is curious, it has to do with the ratio of waist/hips measurement. Above a .8 is an ‘apple’, which has different, and more severe, long term health implications than being a ‘pear’.

efbq has gotten 3 cheers on this entry.
