My stepsister moved into the apartment below me with her husband and her three children. Although I love her dearly, she has a way of creating chaos for those around her. Aside from having her living right below me, I have my father in another apartment on the 2nd floor, and my stepbrother on the garden level of our building. Four out of 6 apartments are occupied by family, and I have visions of the fun little dramas that will be created by the situation. So I’m moving out.

I’m hoping my tax return is comparable to last year, because that will be enough for a deposit on a nice apartment somewhere not too far away, but a good enough distance that they will have to go out of their way to see me.
