I change my last name to my grandmothers maiden name, 25 years ago. I have hated my first name for as long as I can remember—but I didnt change it at the time. I had little support from my familiy and I hated my new last name EVEN more than my original last name. So I ended up with a horrible first name and an even worse last name. Now I’m FINALLY changing my entire name. I’m going to have my middle name as my first name, and chose a completely different last name and middle name. Make sure that you really like your mothers maiden name. Out of the millions of last names out there, are you sure you want your mothers maiden name? I looked up the US CENSUS names, it literally took me 3 days to look down the page, thats how long it is. It has about one million last names listed, and that gives you the best selection of last names.
