My alcoholism....... 11 months ago

I sometimes prefer to tell people that I’m allergic to alcohol instead of stating that I’m an alcoholic.

Like some people are allergic to peanuts…if they eat only a little it will kill them.

Alcohol just takes longer and causes more pain for more people in the process….......the end result for me is the same…...DEATH

That is what they say in alcoholics anonymous as well. Alcoholics are allergic to alcohol. The logic is this, when an alcoholic has even just one drink of alcohol, we have “an allergic reaction” that makes our mind just want more and more.
