My long-standing wish is to meet and befriend Karen Carpenter. It’s hard to believe someone so full of life and so richly blessed with musical talent was taken away so young. She was just 32 years old, and I secretly loved her. Perhaps we will meet in Heaven and finally sing “Top of the World” or “Goodbye to Love” together!
