make people understand that declawing a cat is a painful unnecessary surgery and there are better ways to deal with cat's scratching (read all 3 entries…)
My new cat is a polydactyl (has extra claws) 11 months ago

As kittens grow they learn to control their claws so amazingly I have leather sofas etc as well as when she jumps on me her landing is soooooooo smooooooooth it really does amaze me ; )

Ofcourse she has a scratch post to sharpen her tools he! he! he!

That's true.

My new kitten hasn’t retracted his claws at me. When he plays, he just bats at me with his paw pads. He scratches a lot on his kitty condo though!
