I have my terminal degree – an MFA in graphic design and illustration – and I would like to get my doctorate… but I have NO idea WHAT I want to get it in. I could get a PhD in Art History, or I could go for the EdD in Art Education. I know that there are also degrees in Visual Culture. How to choose?

I will ask my mentors and seek more info about what degrees schools in the area are offering.
