Add that to the lack of trees, one too many crack whores, and poor public transportation, and you have a disappointing visit.

And that’s why you shouldn’t spend much time Downtown! I live just 4 blocks from Downtown and I never go down there for those very reasons. Walk up to Capitol Hill wehre there’s food, drinks, and lots of music. Spend the day in beautiful Ballard. Enjoy the funky environment of Fremont, but for the love of Seattle, do not spend your whole visit Downtown!
