I started this course on December 1, 2008 and my goal, at that time, was to finish by March 1, 2009. It is now February 6, 2009 and I am almost complete. I have my fifth (and final) packet to go yet. So far, enjoying it very much. Learning tons, refreshing my medical terminology from way back. It’s amazing how much we stick in the back of our minds if knowledge is not used in our everyday life, and then once it comes up again, wow, the mind starts a churning and bringing forth all the info requested of it. These final two packets are all transcribing different reports and that is holding me up a bit on finishing by March 1, 2009. Not because I don’t get it, but because I am a fanatic proofreader and want to make sure everything is just so before sending it in for a grade. I have accomplished all A’s so far and hope to keep that rolling.
