I am TERRIFIED of needles but I want to be able to get over that for one moment so I can get my ears pierced and wear pretty earrings to compliment my outfits. I wish I had the nerve :(

Wear clip earrings instead! I have a pair of pretty earrings, bought them 2 months ago, and they are clips. All they do is pinch slightly on your ears. And no hassle – take them off whenever.

My ears are pierced, so I can wear any kind of earrings I want, and half the time I wear non-post earrings. Screw-backs are my favorite because unlike clips they needn’t even pinch—there’s a little finger screw on the back to adjust the pressure on your earlobe just enough to secure the earring. You might want to try some vintage clothing shops or thrift stores and see if you can’t get some wonderful clip or screw-back earrings that fit your style. If that works for you, you can save your nerve up for another goal!

Don’t worry. Is not so painful piercing ears. In my opinion you can piercer your ears without problems. Earring for pierced ears looks better than earrings with clips!

Try and do it on the spur of the moment and go with someone you trusr to hold your hand but who won’t force you.

Me, too!

I am also TERRIFIED of those sharp, pointy things. (As in hopefully I won’t faint just because I am writing about them here!

I did it on the spur of the moment 25 years ago and didn’t even flinch, let alone faint or anything horrible like that. It’s not a “you know what” but a little gun thing that doesn’t even resemble a “you know what.”

And, yes, earrings are FUN!
