Swim with stingrays
Accidental 10 months ago

During a vacation to Myrtle beach, my daughter and I went out to the beach early one morning before the crowds. I carried her out into the tide, splashing her against the incoming waves. After a great big wave that almost sent us toppling, I regained my composure, glanced at the water, and noticed to our left four stingrays darting toward us. When they got a little closer (about 3 ft.), they darted out to the right and disappeared under the waves.

I have found from my trips to the beach that early morning (before the crowds) is the best time if you are hoping to have any interaction with marine life. We were able to catch crabs and even had the chance to rescue a beached jellyfish.
