Joan is going back to Cali
Yay! Okay first… Yesterday.
So I did the first two drinks with lemons and blue agave. Then I did 2 or 3 more with the black strap molasses. Aside from having different nutritional content, there was a definite difference in the bathroom runs. The consistency of BSM is different. Now, in retrospect, I feel like the agave was better than the BSM on flushing things out. I also feel now, looking back, that maybe the agave was more effective than the maple syrup for me. But I can’t really say. My two cleanses were not under the same exact conditions, so I don’t really know. But there’s a definite difference.
OJ
So… again, I’m in the Philippines doing this, so I don’t have the same things readily available that I did when I was in the states. For one… apparently oranges are imported. Not to mention, they are expensive! So I only go grocery shopping once a week here, and I only got 6 small oranges. One small orange yielded about 4 ounces of juice, if that. And I know when I had a full glass of OJ when I was in the states (organic OJ from Trader Joe’s) I was HUNGRY!!! I tried to put water in today’s OJ to make it a full cup and that was less appealing. So, I had planned this all along… If the OJ wasn’t enough, I was going to put mango pulp in with the OJ, which I did this morning for my first glass. I can definitely FEEL that there is something different in my digestive system.
But if I get through today and not eat a whole pizza, that will be further than I got last time. :)
Happy Cleansing!
P.S. Remind me not to watch food commercials, I’m still in that small danger zone! haha
