The Oxford English Dictionary has a webpage called Save the Words. It features hundreds of words whose existence is threatened by lack of use. You can adopt one (by incorporating it into your daily speech and writing) and help to save it from extinction!
These are some of the candidates I’m considering:
labascate – (v.) to begin to fall or slip
latibule – (n.) hiding place
prandicle – (n.) small meal
vicambulate – (v.) to walk about in the streets
boscaresque – (adj.) alluring; scenically wooded
snollygoster – (n.) a shrewd, unprincipled person, especially a politician
ruriculous – (adj.) living in the country or in fields
sagittipotent – (adj.) having great ability in archery
