Visit 50 of the world heritage sites (read all 2 entries…)
We already visited a few of these without knowing it 9 months ago

The Unesco list includes some of the places that we already visited together (roughly in chronological order):

1. Tallinn, Estonia.
2. Sanssouci palace in Potsdam, with Zina and Julius.
3. Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks.
4. Budapest, Hungary, visiting big Marta.
5. Stralsund, with Andrea, see picture (by Marta).
6. Olympic National Park, Washington.
7. Independence Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
8. Redwood National Park, California.
9. Yosemite National Park, Califarnia.
10. Historical Fortified City of Carcassonne, France.
11. Hanseatic City of Lübeck, with Zina & Peter.

So that’s 11 down, 39 to go. And I just found a list of heritage sites in Germany that Marta wrote on a postcard. So maybe we can tackle these when she’s back in Europe.

  • Speyer Dom
  • Aachen Dom
  • Bamberg
  • Weimar
  • Wartburg Castle
  • Quedlinburg
  • Hildesheim
  • Bremen
  • Regensburg

Here’s a good map of the Unesco World Heritage sites:
