However, this raw experience transformed me inside and out. I lost 6 lbs and made a couple of investments in really raw-friendly kitchen gear. I bought a Vita-mix last week and begged my fiancee for an Omega Juicer. I will probably be at least 75% raw my whole life now.
I have been “cheating” and eating cooked foods once in a while, but I don’t feel bad at all. I have gotten into sprouting, making nut milk, marinating vegetables to soften them instead of cooking, making nut butters, Nori rolls and really getting creative with raw food.
Tonight I blew $150 on food at the store. Lots of it was ingredients that raw foodies need. I hated spending all that money, but I told myself it was an investment. I have spent over 1000 dollars this month on raw food related things. I am very serious about this lifestyle.
