I am 33 and thinking its about time to start a family. I am not one of those people who has always wanted to be a mom. The idea makes me a little nervous and babies scare me. After children hit walking and talking age I am much more comfortable with the idea. I have honestly thought that maybe I should just adopt a three year old. My husband says that he wants kids but is nervous about money (he always will be so that will never change). I am not on birth control and have started taking prenatal vitamins, but need to build up the nerve to take the leap and actually start trying.

babies
I am the oldest of 8 children. Even I get a little nervous about babies. BUT everyone says it’s different when it’s your own baby. PLUS babies aren’t babies for long. Have your baby. It will be wonderful.

i think the moment you set your eyes on your baby, your whole world will just flip upside down! when your finally in the middle of it, its not scary at all. there’s a routine, kinda… the eating, sleeeping, peeing, pooping… and as they become more aware, you suddenly find yourself rediscovering the world through their eyes! what an adventure! recently my son has been learning how to use his hands more and more, which is so cute. AND my heart melted just yesterday when he laughed for the first time!!!
my advice is just go for it!!! :D
