It took me a long time to learn that it was really about being happy with me. And its been a lesson I’ve worked hard to pass on to my two daughters.
The lesson is… that you’re worth it.
You’re worth talking to…
You’re worth doing what you want to do.
You’re worth saying no and expecting everyone to be okay with that.
Dastalkingqueen, I bet you’re worth knowing, I bet you’re a cool woman with causes and desires in your heart. Enough to make you interesting and worth spending time with. Consider that when you next feel forced to make a choice… You’re worth spending time with… and if supposed friends think doing things that you don’t agree with… and they would try to force you to do them… then “are they your friends?”
