Releasing the need for approval

In pursuit of this goal, I stopped trying so hard to explain things to people, and found that the urge was coming from a need for these perfect strangers to understand and approve of what I was doing or had done.

As the saying goes, “What you think of me is none of my business.”

If you needed to understand what I’ve done, you’d already know about it.

But what’s mysterious about everyone knowing everything you do and your every motivation behind your actions??
I’d rather be enigmatic than explicit. Explicit becomes an afterthought, enigmatic a fascination.
