If I do not define it—fully take it in and understand it—I am afraid that it will slip away.

I could give in to that fear and try to put words to something that defies words. Or I could learn to trust and allow that mystery.

I like the second choice rather more than the first.

Thank you for bringing that up. I will have to see if I can let go of the desire to define and, instead, focus on faith itself.
