FINALLY got to try it! At Kalahari they only did it in the mornings when few people were there and then at 7 night, but we had services each night we were there.
It’s totally different from any other board sport, let alone real surfing. The FlowRider is like a plastic canvas wave with high pressure water so it’s obviously not a real wave. then the board is thin and short. its smaller than a wakeboard. It was pretty easy to stand up but it’s pretty difficult to control yourself on the wave. Even the guys in Master’s who skate and snowboard had trouble with it so I didn’t feel too bad.

So that was awesome. But I still want to go to California and hang ten on some real waves.
