Look what was squashed into my mail box today…...fortunately for the postman it wasn’t bent. Now I am off to flunk out in the aircon and start….... can’t wait.

I have the utmost respect for our postal “people” ~ really…
we are so blessed to have such a great system here~

I mailed a box to Nepal in Jan. 2008 and by the time it arrived to where I had mailed it….everything of value was gone from the box and the people had to pay taxes on what little was left….

I felt soooooooooooo
violated ..... I had always taken proper postal handling as a right….and it just isn’t that way in other places!!!!

I was just giving you a hard time. :)

...but it is a rather thankless job from what my mom says. No one hesitates to complain and get really nasty when they think something should be done differently… but rarely does anyone thank them.

Yet another thankless job….
and really the quality of our lives are greatly impacted by the level of service and the integrity of those who do work in the postal department~

it is a great word

and blokey can be used as an adverb or adjective too. Not sure how it will go completely replacing man though…... just can’t quite imagine the term ‘blokeini’ taking off….. though I think sales of mankinis in my native Yorkshire might improve if they did.
