I remember waiting in music class in elementary school for my turn to play. Two weekends ago, I walked into a pawn shop, saw one and felt I had to have it.

The next day I bought mallets and am trying to learn to play it. I hit the keys and feels like I am making music. I’ve even recorded myself playing it. Just audio. It sounds nice. But I really want to learn to read music and play a real song.

Last week I got a mini lesson from my brother on how to read music. And I hope to put that lesson to work this week.
