So I'm a little behind...

I started reading ‘The Zookeeper’s Wife’ by Diane Ackerman in February but was about 30 pages shy of finishing when I had to go on the road for 3 weeks. So I finally finished it today! Really really good book. It chronicles the lives and experiences of the zookeepers of the Warsaw Zoo when WWII broke out, and how they were able to help hundreds of people escape the ghetto. I’ve been extremely interested in WWII materials lately, as well as exploring more of my Polish heritage so I really enjoyed it despite the more depressing subject matter. I learned some really fascinating information.
