I used to dream about moving out of Los Angeles, and into a city I can actually take pride in living in (i.e. Seattle, Chicago, or San Francisco). But, now I would settle for just moving out of my parents’ house. 27 years is more than enough, especially now that I have a full time job. I know the economy is crap right now, but that’s not an excuse. But, I feel more held back by my culture- or more specifically my parents’ culture. They believe that their kids shouldn’t move out until they’re married. But ironically, it’s kind of difficult to make that happen if you have to tell a woman that you still live with you’re parents. How humiliating is that? If worse comes to worse, there’s always the mail order bride route! Russian ladies are lovely! :)
