I find that my first impressions of such things are usually a bit hasty.

Looking at it this evening, I’m thinking that I may rip it back a bit—it’s rather long.

Either that, or some other idea will occur. Maybe I’ve just gotten to the interesting part.

I do pretty much all my knitting on circular needles, so for the first few stages, everything looks like a hat.

I say “pretty much” because I also use double pointed needles a lot. I think I own one pair of straight needles, and I mostly use them for casting on and/or prying things open.
