Going back to work makes me happy? 9 months ago

This week marked my first week back to work after being off for a little while, because of a foot infection. My foot is healing and I’m finished the IV antibiotics. I didn’t think going back to work would make me happy, but in a way, it’s nice to get back into the routine. I just wish I didn’t have to deal with my 17 year-old’s antics at the same time!

Thanks again to everyone who gave me support here on 43Things. You people are wonderful! :)

I ‘think” it’s good that I’m back at work, lol. A lot of people tell me they are happy to see me and some people sent me get well cards, so that is a pick-me-up.

I’m sure you’d rather be getting back to the beach/touring a chocolate factory/winning the lottery, but…

Your only other option is taking early retirement! You have to go back sometime…

Things are good this long weekend. ;) I’m enjoying the time off and just now watching the final round of The Masters. Do you like golf, Nikita? This has to be my favourite PGA golf tournament of the year!

My employer didn’t give us any time off for the Easter weekend. I don’t know enough about golf to know if I like it or not. I know quite a few people who do though. I’ve thought it might be fun to give it a try. Enjoy!

of luck. I know what you mean about getting back into a routine… it feels good somehow. I’m happy for you.
I refrain from giving any parenting advise at all these days what with my daughter’s wedding only a month away. It is stressful. Just hang in there as best you can! :-)
