Do yourself a favor 1976, and keep to the program on the break time. Sometimes I cheat during the work out, but I keep on that day until I can do it without cheating.
I`m on week 6 day 3 column 2. I completed it with 1 minute breaks, and 3 minutes before the final set a few days ago. Today I did it with the program 45 second breaks and a minute 45 seconds before the final. Upon the 46 push up, I collapsed in exhaustion (the minimum is 55), regardless I felt much better for trying to do a good job and failing than trying to half ass it and succeeding. For my next attempt I will be lowering my final break to 1 minute and 30 seconds
The program goes into high gear on week 5. The principle is to lower break times, and eventually eliminate them. THE IDEA IS NOT TO GET THERE BY TAKING LONG BREAKS AND ADVANCING PREMATURELY
