love my job, find a mate, lose weight and accept myself. Those are all the goals that I am struggling with. The ones that I believe, once achieved, will take me to the next level of my life. The thing is I’ve been struggling with these so much for so long that they really do define my life. I want to move on, badly. Any advice?

have we met?
LOL! well, it seems like it! I can relate to a lot of what you’re saying here. I think it’s true that what you want defines you, but more importantly, it’s your attitude that says who you really are.
To me, it seems by acknowledging these wants and desires and then working on them, you are moving on….and moving closer to getting them.
Thanks for the pleasant reminder..
It’s so true that acknowleding is the first step. I have been working on those things since I identified then and up until now I’ve accepted myself a lot, loved my job much more, lost a little weight but I have yet to find a boyfriend. Or actually I find boyfriends, I just don’t hold onto them for various reasons.
