I wasn’t “on” the Speech Team, but I knew a bunch of people who were, and I TA’d for a speech class. Anyway, at one of the Speech Tournaments, my senior year I competed as a novice, and earned 2nd place in the “Humorous Interpretation” category for performing the Dead Parrot sketch.
