i am too nice for my own good a lot of times 8 months ago

if i had a nickel for every time someone informed me of this i would have a butt load of nickels thats for sure!!!!
sometimes i have to force myself to be a jerk…because its what is needed at the time…other times it just happens naturally…whats up with that?

I think it is good to be nice ~
and assertive in a kind way….
It’s really open to interpretation too…
don’t you think ????

One person may perceive someone being a jerk, while another think they are just being honest or being assertive…
it’s weird….
I just think being plain mean is wrong…....

The encouragement from some of your well timed comments and posts, with just the correct amount of words or something….actually inspired me to make my goal on learning to do that more effectively myself

I am with HG, you can try being assertive in a nice way. I truly hate the thought of someone taking advantage of you, I think you are a great guy.
