The Dogwood Festival in Piedmont Park 8 months ago

I haven’t been to this thing in years because it is usually insane.But this year, it was not crowded at all and I parked only 3 blocks away! The festival includes artists, music and food, there were so many artist tents I didn’t get to see them all.

We have a few community events / festivals, but you hardly ever hear about them until they are over which is a shame.

Is there something like a Chamber of Commerce or a tourist website you could get updates from? That would be a great way to know when they are coming up.

a ‘what’s on’ site for Brisbane, shall have to see if they do email updates or news letters. As far as Ipswich is concerned I have no idea…. shall have a look though.
