If there is one thing I have learned about authoring articles is that you need to have a strong passion about what you will be writing about. If that passion is not there you will find yourself looking at a blank page or many crumpled up pieces of paper. Of course along with the passion for the subject matter you must also be fully accepting of constructive criticism… the editors and copy editors are there to help you improve some areas of your writing that you may not be aware of. Listen to them and learn.
