DoubleN is working on selling the house
Every 4th of July (except the one year I was in CO) I do the 10k of the Firecracker Run in East Moline, IL. Though it’s always hotter than hades and has some nice hills, I just love this race! As with our local marathon, there are some local musicians scattered throughout the route, which is always fun – as is the post-race.
under my arse is pretty much what’s needed to get me over a 10k these days.

If that’s what you like, you’d love our local Bix 7, in which you can tear off a corner of your number bib for a free beer at the post-race. Since I hate beer, I always give mine away. I guess the Bix should be my next entry on this goal …
