screw Volkswagon commercials, on the road of life there are passengers and RIDERS. It’s been more fun/thrilling/dangerous/difficult than I ever imagined it would be, but I’m definetly sticking with it. It’s like riding a mechanical animal that can go 0-60 in 3 seconds, and accelerates just as well beyond that. There’s no feeling like it.

There’s also so much skill involved. Beyond plain mechanical skills, there’s riding safely- meaning extremely defensive driving. I don’t suggest anyone looking to prove anything to learn how to ride, because that person will inevitably kill themselves. I still don’t consider myself very good, but that’s the coolest thing- it’s a continual learning experience
